THE PAINT CORRECTION PROCESS
We start by foam washing the entire exterior, this step will help us to lift the dirt and grime from the paint safely. Once we rinse the car, we move to our two bucket wash method using a wash grit and high quality wash mitt. We also have high quality exterior brushes that are safe to be used on the paint. Now that the we finished washing the paint, it’s not to remove the contaminations. This is one of the important steps in every paint correction and ceramic coating service. There are two decontaminations, we start by chemical decontamination then we move to manual or clay bar. At this step our paint is ready to receive it’s first polishing step which is using a compound, based on the paint condition and level we need the compound that works safely for that paint. At this step we remove all the marks and scratches but will need to follow up with a polish to remove the marks from previous step. Once we finished polishing the paint we have to carefully inspect the paint to make sure the results are what we had in mind. Sometimes we can correct the paint in only one step, it all depends on the paint condition. But now is a good time to put a protection on the paint to prevent this from happening again.
